The Strongest Portal Backing Plates You Can Get We make our backing plates using an advanced steel alloy, and believe us when we say this isn’t your average steel. Bearings That Rock Your bearings are what keeps everything running smoothly. If your bearings go bad, you’re going to have problems. We don’t want that to happen, so we use roller bearings to hold our idler gear in place. Our output bearing is a double-angular contact bearing—this means it can handle huge loads in any direction without showing premature wear. Our bearings really are built for battle, and they’re just another crucial piece that makes GDP portals the best.
Universal Hubs and Slotted Rotors We design these precision-ground, stainless steel slotted rotors to stay cool regardless of how hard you ride. They give you the braking power you need, when you need it. And we include universal hubs, just to make your life a little easier. They have 4/156, 4/137, 4/115, and 4/110 bolt patterns and lugs, letting you run just about any side-by-side wheel out there. We also invented the tapered output shaft that our hubs attach to. It provides a more secure lock that won’t wobble or wear over time.
