Gen 3 Portals Are Geared for All
Ride the way you want with a SuperATV GDP 6” Portal Gear Lift on your Yamaha Wolverine. Our Gen 3 portals let you customize the way you ride by picking your gear reduction (30% or 45%) and your housing material (cast or billet aluminum). With a boost in torque and room for monster tires, your Wolverine will be a force to be reckoned with on any terrain.
GDP—the Most Trusted Name in Portals
GDP Portal Gear Lifts are the most trusted and tested portals on the market. They’re built by riders just like you who have invested more time, money, and manpower than anyone else—all in the name of developing the most reliable portal gear lift possible.
Perfect for Mud
You can’t go mud riding without seeing a portal gear lift or two. That’s because GDP and mud are a match made in heaven. Portals give you enough clearance to run massive mud tires and a gear reduction for chewing through the thickest peanut-butter mud. Never again will you have to worry about getting stuck or swamped, and we guarantee you’ll never look at mud the same way again.
A Gear Reduction That Protects Your Drivetrain
Portals put the gear reduction directly in the hub. This greatly reduces the amount of stress placed on your axles, differential, prop shaft, and transmission, so they’ll last longer even though you’re riding harder than ever. It’s a win-win situation.

Unmatched Gear Material
Gears are the heart of a portal gear system—if the gears are crap, the portals aren’t going to be worth much, either. That’s why we build our portals using the most premium, top-of-the-line gears around. They’re made with 9310 alloy steel and are precision ground, which ensures that they stay quiet and mate perfectly every time.
Stronger Housings by Design
We’ve been designing and testing portals for years, so we know a thing or two about their housings. Creating portal housings that are going to hold up through miles of rough riding is no easy task, but lucky for you, we’ve perfected it. Whether you go with cast or USA-made billet aluminum housings, you’re getting superior strength directly from the experts.
Our housings are reinforced in all the right places
They’re built with better oil flow and gearing forces in mind
There are no gimmicks and no vents because vents do more harm than good—we know because we tested them
The Strongest Portal Backing Plates You Can Get
Just like our housings, our portal backing plates are the best you can get. They’re made from an advanced steel alloy that’s even stronger than chromoly. At 5/16” thick, these backing plates will outlive your machine by a long shot, so don’t even think about taking it easy on them.
Advanced Gaskets and Seals
Whether you go with cast or billet, both housings use:
Advanced Thermo-Tork® gaskets with excellent oil resistance and a lower deterioration rate than Kevlar gaskets
A sealed input gear and double-lipped output seal
100% sealing coverage throughout so you can forget about oil leaks
Bearings That Rock
In case you haven’t noticed, we’re not in the habit of cutting corners. This is especially true when it comes to our bearings, because they’re what keep your portals running smoothly. We use roller bearings to hold our idler gear and a double-angular contact bearing that can handle huge loads in any direction. These bearings are built to last, and they’re just another reason why GDP portals are the best.
Universal Hubs and Slotted Rotors
We use precision-ground, stainless steel slotted rotors because they stay cool and deliver the braking power you need, right when you need it. Our portals come with universal hubs that have 4/156, 4/137, 4/115, and 4/110 bolt patterns and lugs, meaning you can run pretty much any side-by-side wheel there is. We also invented the tapered output shaft that our hubs attach to. It makes for a more secure hold that won’t wobble or wear down over time.
