Our 30% gear reduction lets you ride full force with maximum torque and bigger tires, and our 15% gear reduction is perfect if you do most of your riding on the trails. That’s why we make our gears using 9310 alloy steel (long story short: it’s really strong) and we precision grind them so they mate perfectly every time. The Strongest Portal Backing Plates You Can Get
If you haven’t noticed, we don’t cut corners when it comes to portals. Every piece of this product is expertly designed, including the 5/16” thick backing plates. We make them using an advanced steel alloy that is specialized for ultra-high force applications and even stronger than chromoly. Backing plates this strong are guaranteed to outlast your machine’s lifetime.

Advanced Gaskets and Seals
Whether you go with cast or billet, both housings use:
  • Advanced Thermo-Tork® gaskets with excellent oil resistance and a lower deterioration rate than Kevlar gaskets
  • A sealed input gear and double-lipped output seal
  • 100% sealing coverage throughout so you can forget about oil leaks
Bearings That Rock
Top-quality bearings are a must for smooth, reliable performance. We use roller bearings to hold our idler gear because we don’t compromise when it comes to strength. Our output bearing is a double-angular contact bearing—that means it can handle huge loads in any direction without wearing prematurely. Our bearings truly are built for battle, and they’re just another piece of the puzzle that makes GDP portals the best.

Universal Hubs and Slotted Rotors
Our precision-ground, stainless steel slotted rotors stay cool to give you the braking power you need, when you need it. And our universal hubs are built to make your life easier. Their 4/156, 4/137, 4/115, and 4/110 bolt patterns and lugs let you run just about any side-by-side wheel in the world. We also invented the tapered output shaft that our hubs attach to. It provides a more secure lock that won’t wobble or wear over time.
